As fall finally sets in and I’m forced to bundle up inside, I’ve got Galanter & Jones’ incredible line of heated outdoor furniture on the brain. Conceived in cast stone with a steel base, their award-winning Helios collection offers radiant heat chairs and sofas ideal for outdoor entertaining. Founded in 2012, the design and fabrication studio has garnered acclaim from major shelter magazines and earned the title of best outdoor furniture design at the 2015 Dwell on Design conference. Created by brother/sister duo, Aaron and Miranda Jones, who drew inspiration from smooth rocks warmed in the sun, it is clear that the collection was designed with brisk Californian nights in mind. With sleek, Eames chair-influenced styles that are handmade in California, it is easy to wonder what’s not to love. Below I’ve selected some of my favorite Galanter & Jones pieces that I’d love to warm my tusch on this season!
