A Los Angeles-based furniture designer inspired by bold geometry, Jenifer Janniere is, without a doubt, an up-and-coming name to know. The former interior designer recently turned to furniture design, presenting her collection at WestEdge and winning the praise of California Home + Design editors. Janniere’s debut collection consists of a bed frame, side table, console, étagère and wall sconce imagined in a graphic linear motif.
Each piece is crafted in powder-coated 16 gauge steel that is treated with a hand-applied antique brass finish for a sleek, modern look. The designer’s furnishings are as inspiring as her story–Janniere does everything herself save for building the pieces, from the initial concept drawings to product photography. I am anxiously awaiting to see what Janniere has up her sleeve next and hope to find a client who loves her pieces as much as I do!
