Dine & Design at Figo

bg-start

When it comes to dining, atmosphere is everything. At Toronto’s contemporary Italian restaurant FIGO, a pastel palette and polished concrete set the stage for a space that any designer will drool over. I stumbled upon the gorgeous restaurant when attending a Spotlight cast and crew dinner during the Toronto Film Festival last fall and can’t seem to shake it. Designed by Studio Munge, the bright, airy space features an open kitchen, bespoke furniture, and custom millwork. Bold design choices—such as the graphic floral ceiling and cathedral-style wine cabinets—read as sleek and restrained when envisioned in a soft grey, pink, and white. With a menu to match emphasizing seasonal ingredients and traditional Italian techniques, FIGO is a destination not to be missed.
